Low maintenance and durable droppers from Westonfence

Westonfence is an Australian made fencing system designed for exclusion, boundary, subdivision or retrofit to existing fences.

The initial Westonfence concept was developed by Peter Weston in response to the need for better management of his farm at Nymagee.

Peter’s philosophy in managing the land for productivity and sustainability included woody weed removal, pasture improvement and ground water catchment/storage.

Improvements in productivity were eroded by increased invasive species pressure to which conventional fencing was ineffective.

This led Peter to develop a low maintenance, easy to install, economic electric fencing system, Westonfence.

Westonfence is made locally in Parkes, NSW, from recycled plastics, chemical drums and agri-waste diverted landfill. The recycled plastic droppers are insulated, low maintenance, durable and offer an economical alternative to traditional fencing materials.

Westonfence is a complete and permanent electric fencing solution which is adaptable to suit any situation or environment and has been used successfully for exclusion, biosecurity, conservation, containment, and equine fencing across Australia.

“We’re quite proud of the evolution of the Westonfence Droppers from their initial beginnings in Nymagee to the quality product we manufacture in Parkes today,” Mr Weston said.
