Global market leader in centre pivots for five decades

Founded more than 90 years ago, the Austrian Bauer Group is considered the oldest and most experienced irrigation manufacturer in the world.

This year at Henty they have an entry in the Machine of the Year Award, the Rainstar T42 and T32, a hard hose irrigator and centre tower for pivots, released onto the market in 2023.

Thousands of farmers are proud owners of Bauer Rainstar, Centreliner, Linestar and Center Pivots such as TRT Pastoral who runs five Bauer pivots in Mansfield or Lamoo Pastoral who runs five Rainstar T42 machines, Global Turf in Tatura has one Bauer Centre Pivot and a Rainstar T42 or AML Turf in Rutherglen with one Bauer Centre Pivot and three Rainstar T32 machines. 

The Sheather family, Corryong, run a dairy farm and have a Bauer 4000 series centre pivot irrigating for over 20 years and have recently installed a new Bauer Center Pivot on their property. 

Bauer is one of the global market leaders in irrigation technology and a total of more than 2.5 million hectares are irrigated by Bauer systems globally. In 1970 Bauer developed the hard hose irrigation system called Rainstar and in the late 1970s, the first low pressure pivot and linear systems were introduced.
